The chapter model
One network, many local ecosystems.
I-ATIC’s international growth strategy is based on country chapters supported by the Indian headquarters. The Indian legal entity serves as the principal headquarters and governance authority for the I-ATIC network.
Chapters operate under the I-ATIC Constitution, bylaws, approved chapter charter, applicable policies and local laws. They build local business networks, facilitate relevant activities, support member engagement and coordinate with the central Secretariat. Chapters are not independent I-ATIC entities unless separately incorporated with required approvals.

How a chapter is established
Six stages from idea to an active chapter.
Stage 1
Market assessment
Identify relevant industries, member demand, trade opportunities and potential local partners.
Stage 2
Leadership identification
Identify credible business leaders and professionals willing to contribute to the chapter.
Stage 3
Institutional outreach
Explore suitable engagement with local trade bodies, business institutions and relevant Indian Missions through official channels.
Stage 4
Approval and charter
Submit proposed chapter leadership, activities, budget and operating plan to I-ATIC’s authorised governing body.
Stage 5
Launch
Conduct an introductory business forum or networking programme and begin member enrolment.

Annual review
Assess chapter activity, member engagement, governance, financial compliance and business-development outcomes.
The first chapter leadership may be appointed by I-ATIC in accordance with its governance framework. Subsequent appointments or elections follow the approved chapter charter and bylaws.
