About I-ATIC
A trusted bridge to international business.
The Indo-APAC Trade & Innovation Council (I-ATIC) is envisioned to connect entrepreneurs, business owners, manufacturers, exporters, importers, investors, technology companies, startups and institutions across countries.
I-ATIC aims to foster cross-border trade, business partnerships, investment dialogue, innovation, entrepreneurship and international market development through a collaborative network of businesses and country chapters.
We bring businesses of different sizes and sectors together so members can share expertise, discover opportunities, develop partnerships and explore new markets — with a particular emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region and wider global markets.

Why we started I-ATIC
Access to international opportunity is still hard.
Geographical boundaries are becoming less restrictive, but small and medium businesses, startups and emerging entrepreneurs still struggle to identify overseas buyers, find reliable suppliers, understand unfamiliar markets, establish distribution networks and locate technology or investment partners.
Established chambers and industry associations perform important functions in industry representation, policy advocacy and trade promotion. I-ATIC seeks to complement this ecosystem with a focused emphasis on member-driven business collaboration.
Our purpose is to build an international business community where members can seek relevant introductions, explore commercial possibilities, exchange knowledge and work towards practical business outcomes. We will measure success by the quality of relationships we help develop and the opportunities our members are able to explore.
Our positioning
Why I-ATIC?
Cross-border business growth through practical collaboration, international connections and innovation-led partnerships.

How we differ
Complementing an established ecosystem.
India and the international business community already benefit from organisations such as CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, bilateral chambers of commerce and international trade bodies. I-ATIC respects and complements this ecosystem — our differentiation is based on the focus and delivery of our member services.
| Area | I-ATIC’s intended approach |
|---|---|
| Membership experience | Understand the member’s specific business objectives and collaboration requirements. |
| International connections | Develop practical country-to-country business networks and market-specific programmes. |
| B2B engagement | Encourage relevant, consent-based introductions and structured business meetings. |
| SME development | Make the needs of startups, MSMEs and emerging enterprises a central consideration. |
| Trade and innovation | Integrate conventional trade with technology, digital transformation and emerging business opportunities. |
| Country chapters | Connect local business ecosystems to the wider international network. |
| Follow-up | Encourage progress tracking and feedback after introductions and meetings. |
| Accountability | Develop transparent membership benefits and measurable service indicators. |
Our differentiation is a strategic commitment, not an assertion that other organisations do not provide similar services.
Working with Indian Missions abroad
Building bridges between Indian businesses and global markets.
I-ATIC intends to engage constructively with relevant Indian Embassies, High Commissions, Consulates General and other appropriate institutions — through official channels and subject to their priorities, policies and approval processes.
Official introductions and institutional outreach
Introduce I-ATIC’s objectives to relevant Indian Missions, commercial or economic sections and trade-promotion bodies, presenting our membership profile, proposed programmes and participating sectors.
Country-specific business dialogues
Where appropriate and accepted by the relevant parties, facilitate business dialogues involving Indian enterprises and local companies in the host country.
Business delegations and buyer-seller interactions
Subject to approvals, partnerships, resources and local requirements, organise delegations, virtual B2B meetings, roundtables, sectoral meetings and buyer-seller interactions.
Country market intelligence
Encourage responsible use of publicly available market information, institutional resources and expert knowledge on market conditions, regulations and commercial practices.
Establishment of country chapters
Identify local business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and institutions who can help establish and develop I-ATIC country chapters.
Collaboration with trade institutions
Explore cooperation with bilateral chambers, industry associations, export-promotion councils, trade-promotion organisations, investment agencies and universities.
Important principle: Engagement with an Indian Mission does not automatically imply endorsement, sponsorship or formal partnership. I-ATIC will represent any institutional relationship accurately and will use official names, emblems or branding only where authorised.
